This is a Cal Spa brand hot tub control system, prior to the company switching to Balboa Instruments controllers. We call this a 'Black box PS series control system'. Normally controlled by air push buttons, it is found in thousands of Cal Spas throughout north america. This heater replacement was a little difficult due to the element being seized up with the retaining nuts.   more »

On this job, replacement was difficult because the wet end impeller was fused to the motor armature... (rust, corrosion, etc). This Cal Spa had been in use for many years and didn't have the necessary water quality maintenance to prevent this from happening. 3 Pages, Enjoy!   more »
