This is a standard heater element replacement operation carried out on a Balboa Instruments digital spa control. This one is an older model, but the basic procedure can be applied to many controls that are simliar.   more »

This is a Cal Spa brand hot tub control system, prior to the company switching to Balboa Instruments controllers. We call this a 'Black box PS series control system'. Normally controlled by air push buttons, it is found in thousands of Cal Spas throughout north america. This heater replacement was a little difficult due to the element being seized up with the retaining nuts.   more »
